Big Bend National Park, Texas

Big Bend National Park serves as a reminder of the vastness and diversity of nature and the importance of preserving it for future generations. Its rugged Texan landscapes and untouched wilderness provide a sense of perspective and humility, reminding us of our place on this big blue marble.

Big Bend National Park: A Texas Size Wilderness

Big Bend is a national park fit for the Texas mythos, wild, rugged, raw, and beautiful. It may be quite a bit out the way, but it’s a park that is worthy of a trip. Designated as an international dark sky, it’s the best place in texas (and one of the best places in the continental US) to see the milky way in all its glory. It also has a varied landscape, with the mighty Rio Grande, the high Chisos Mountains, and the desert valley (Sometimes all the same hike).
